DR WEMEL CUMAVOO
Dr Wemel Cumavoo, LTT Global’s Co-Founder and CEO since 2004 is a global pioneer in mobile learning and have been instrumental in the development and implementation of numerous projects to promote mobile learning. He has spent much of his life devoted to impacting lives through education.
A prominent businessman being in business for the past 45 years, allows him to draw from a deep reserve of experience to provide insightful, creative solutions to business challenges. He sits on the Board of Directors of several local and international companies ranging from education, resorts to consumer products.
In 2000 with the birth of the millennium, his interests in electronic business and learning fascinated him, knowing very well this is going to be the next major revolution after the industrial revolution. LTT Global Group was formed with a vision to make learning accessible and affordable.
His entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen and visionary leadership has led to LTT Global being a recipient of many local and international awards in recognition of the mobile learning work done and initiatives deployed.
A supporter of socially conscious ventures, Dr Wemel co-founded MyMobileUniversity a global initiative to impact lives through a FREE learning platform, and is a key learning partner for projects in India, Nepal, Liberia, Uganda and Malaysia. He e works closely with among others, with the World Assembly of Youth, Google Educator Group, UNICEF, NGOs’ globally and the Association for People with Special Needs.
His passion is to impact lives through education, which in return will help individuals and their families improve their lives and the society as a whole.
In 2017 he received his Doctor of Philosophy, Honoris Causa at the Global Business Leadership Forum 2017, Mumbai, India for his work to impact lives through education. He serves as a speaker, panelists, Advisors and Mentors for global companies and sits on committees driving the mobile sector among others:

He was invited to participate in The Partnership Exchange 2017 Conference, a high-level political forum on Sustainable Development, held under the theme: “Eradicating Poverty and promoting prosperity in a changing world" at the United Nations Headquarters, New York,USA.
Rani Wemel, a law lecturer resigned in 2000 to spend more time with her children. She formed LTT Global Communications from her dining table with a vision to make learning accessible and affordable for all. Together with her husband and business partner Wemel Cumavoo they are global pioneers in mobile learning and have been instrumental in the development and implementation of numerous projects to promote mobile learning in the region.
Rani Wemel, a law lecturer resigned in 2000 to spend more time with her children. She founded LTT Global from her dining table with a vision to make learning accessible and affrodable and she brings with her 35 years of work experience too. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), of LTT Global and MyMobileUniversity. Together with her husband and business partner Wemel Cumavoo they are global pioneers and a multi award winning mobile learning company, instrumental in the development and implementation of numerous projects to create awareness through various joint activities together with the public, private and academic sectors to encourage these informal methods of learning to promote human capital development and impact lives through education.
Among her signature projects is her global initiative launched in 2013 to impact lives through learning called MyMobileUniversity which is in-line with United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #4, promoting quality learning content, inclusive learning opportunities and to encourage lifelong learning. Today LTT Global is a key learning partner for impact projects among others in Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Liberia, Uganda, India and Nigeria empowering among others women, youth, refugees and people with special needs.
She is a proud finalist in the “teleworking mums” contest organized by e-homemakers.net in 2004 in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Family Development Malaysia and a nominee for the Prime Minister’s Woman Entrepreneur 2011 Award and Woman Social Activist 2011 Award. In 2016 she received the Women Excellence Awards under the category of Women Entrepreneur in Education (Mobile Learning) Award held in conjunction with International Women’s Day Commemoration, in Sri Lanka. She is a MWBP Graduate of Cherie Blair Foundation for her MyMobileUniversity global initiative to impact lives through education. She also serves as a Honorary Advisor, Mentor, Speaker, Panelists and sits on committees driving the mobile sector.
In 2016 she received the Women Excellence Awards under the category of “ Women Entrepreneur in Education (Mobile Learning) Award held in conjunction with International Women’s Day Commemoration, in Sri Lanka.
The most recent recognition was at 5th Women's Day Awards '2018 Celebrations By National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India where she was the recipient of the Outstanding Women Entrepreneur National Award.
She also serves as a Honorary Advisor, Mentor, Speaker, Panelists and sits on committees driving the mobile sector.
